Toby Hammond is a Consultant General & Colorectal Surgeon at the Mid & South Essex University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. He has a subspecialty interest and tertiary referral practice for complex and recurrent abdominal wall hernias, with a particular focus on parastomal hernias. Toby sits on the British Hernia Society (BHS) Executive Board and is on the BHS AWR Subcommittee. He is also on the Advisory Committee for Education of the European Hernia Society, and the Abdominal Wall Subcommittee of the Association of Coloproctology of Great Britain and Ireland.
