Mr Dominic Slade is a Consultant surgeon at Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust, Manchester. He, works as a general, colorectal and intestinal failure surgeon with interests in parastomal hernia, massive abdominal wall defects, open abdomen, and intestinal failure. He receives tertiary referrals from all over the UK for the management of Intestinal Failure and repair of complex hernias. He is the Chief Investigator for the National Open Abdomen Audit (NOAA), fast becoming the largest international registry of its kind. He is a Board Member of the British Hernia Society, and has recently been appointed a board member and secretary for education for the European Hernia Society.
